The Day I Stopped Apologising For My Messy Life

The Day I Stopped Apologising For My Messy Life

For a long time, I apologised for everything.

The crumbs on the floor.

The laundry pile on the couch.

The unanswered texts.

The fact that my business didn’t look like someone else’s.

But one day, I realised I was saying sorry for simply being human.

Life is messy.

Motherhood is messy.

Running a business from your kitchen table is definitely messy.

And yet we keep trying to make it look effortless.

The truth is, the people who love you don’t care if your house looks lived in.

They care if you laugh easily.

They care if you show up honestly.

They care if you still have the spark that makes you you.

I’m done apologising for my messy life.

It’s full, it’s real, it’s mine.

And if someone wants perfect, they’ll have to look elsewhere.

🩵 To every mum trying to hold it all together:

You don’t need to be tidy to be worthy.

You just need to be true.
