People often ask how I decide what makes it into a collection.
The answer is actually pretty simple.
Every design has to pass three questions.
Would my own boys wear it?
If the answer is no, it doesn’t make the cut.
Can it survive real childhood?
Kids climb trees.
Ride scooters.
Dig holes.
Get covered in sand.
The clothes need to keep up.
Does it make me feel something?
Whether it’s confidence.
Adventure.
Fun.
Good vibes.
Every design has to have a reason for existing.
Because I don’t believe in creating clothes just to fill a rack.
Every piece should earn its place.
